Sometimes that happens to me, it's like the video snags at one point, and for the rest of the video all I see is the snagged frame, and the sound keeps going.
I just redownload the movie and it is usually fine

Have you tried using tmpgeng a second time on the same movie to see if it snags at the exact same spot? If it does, why don't you just cut out a few seconds of your movie vith easy video splitter or something and then put them back together with easy video joiner or whatever and see if tmpgeng works. Of course you will be missing a few seconds of your movie, but if that doesn't bug you too much you at least won't have to waste time on another download.

yes it does, fantastic idea...........but obviously i lack common sense!!!
