Go to console and type cl_showfps 1, think this works, works with 1.6.

Then it tells you your fps, anything below 20 sucks, 20-50, okay......, 50+ really good

And your ping is different, theres a difference between video lag and your ping lag.

Video lag is hwat you get when your comp sucks ass

Having winxp on your system is such a waste, XP is a fucking resource hog, youd be better off with more ram or a older windows version
