Ouch.
Update: I finally called Evga tech support and they told me to take out the mobo in case the mobo tray is shorting it. I thought it was a pain but anything to see if it works since I'm desperate at this point and well.. it didn't work.
The tech reminded me about the two LED lights on the mobo that display the status of the mobo and asked me what it showed. It basically showed two dashes and he said that it usually means the CMOS is corrupted and he told me to reset it by taking the battery out. That didn't work either so I just decided to go on their website and start my advanced RMA from them. I'll be happy to answer any other questions.
Because aircat exhaled.. and then there was AIR!
