change the file extension to .rar and extract
Extension: CBR Program and/or Extension Function [What's This?] Company [What's This?] CDisplay RAR Archived Comic Book File Specific Notes [What's This?] This is a renamed .RAR file and can be decompressed with any .RAR file utility. The CDisplay program displays the comic book images so it is useful to use for this particular .RAR archive type
Program(s) that open cbr files
Mac OS
Feedface FFView
Allume Systems Stuffit Expander (to extract images)
Windows
CDisplay
Allume Systems Stuffit Expander (to extract images)
Other .RAR file utility (to decompress the archive)
Linux
Comix along with unrar decompression utility
Use CDisplay for CBR (Comic Files). It will decompress the files to jpeg (usually). Then just view them with your image program. I usually use the one that comes default with
Windows XP.
Excuse Me?
Didn't Think So!
