    Ok -- I'll have a look.

An update on my free-host.com account:

I signed up, uploaded a 434kb pdf file, it was successful, it created a link, and when I click on the link, it leads to a blank page or "The page cannot be found" page every time. Am I doing something wrong?
Theyve had that problem for a while
when you click the link its something like this

    content/s/h/n/shn_free-host_com/Tux-Linux.gif

    remove the content/your/user/name/username_free_host_com

and just add the file to it like this

    http://shn.free-host.com/Tux-Linux.gif

    Thanks guys!

Yeah balamm, I've always wondered what SBC has for me -- I'll look into that as well. (Do I call tech support? Just hunt around my.yahoo.com?)
SBC/Yahoo does not really add anything new to their members package other being linked right into their exsisting SBC account. Just go to GeoCities and your account should be recognized. No need to sign-up or activate anything so long as you have enabled cookies. It should allot at least 15mb, which is sufficient for general web storage. Which is basically all I would use it for. I had an exsisting Angelfire account for years now so I really never bothered with using GeoCities when I signed-on to SBC myself.

    Dial-up or DSL?

    Shn,
I tried that, but nothing new. The fact that it's a pdf file and not an image, what would it do if it were working? Go directly to DAP at which point someone could download the file?

I agree. Well, I do have 260mb of space in my briefcase @ Yahoo -- but can I make links that so others can access the files I upload as well, or is it only for me?

    PROBLEM SOLVED
I think should 260mb should be able to cover it.

    Thanks.
