"Northumberland" isn't a country either, but it has a flag you can choose which was added by request.

I see no reason why the Palestinian flag shouldn't be added either.

It wouldn't be totally unreasonable.

I even put in a request myself some years back. Mine was denied then and any subsequent requests I've seen have been turned down as well. It seems the mere mentioning of that yesterday set off some fireworks, though not with the thread starter oddly enough.

The state of Palestine is a proper country. It might not be universally recognised as such, but enough people think it is. No reason not to put the flag in.

One might wonder why we need them at all on here, like half the board use some other flag than their own, anyways, but if we're gonna have them at all, why not, since he asked.

Not having it was no great injustice or anything, though.

If you mean a duplicated account, I am pretty sure I'm not.

I didn't want to raise a political or administration issue.

I asked what I thought is fair, as there are, at least, 4 flags in the country list that aren't proper countries.

If it can be done, thank you. If not, it is no big deal. I can live without it, although I would like to have it.

okay, I will add the flag.
I will also add all of the american states, the canadian provinces, along with any other requests.
But I want to do them all at once.
Can somebody upload a set of province and/or state flags for me to add? (must match the current country flags).

Also I want to change the name in that case from 'country flag' to 'region flag' or something. Any suggestions?
