I was wondering how long the CD/DVD as a storage medium will last. Do you burn your warez to CD/DVD?
Yes
No

Yeah I do, but I have found that a few years later all I've got are shiny coasters....
Which kind of sucks
i do. but not much lately as i am kinda poor and the DVDS are not so cheap as i wish and i was fired from my job, and i am now unemployed last 3 months. money is more important to eat and survive then to spend on media.
I burn everything on duvdees. Most of them are fine, even the 5 year old ones.
Now i'm going to panic and check each one in an OCD crazed mayhem.

Now go away.
I burn when I feel that i need more diskspace, dvd5.
I've determined (for myself, at any rate) that things change so fast I only ever use the shiny things for music/movie/general media storage...HDDs are so cheap I've just gotten used to syncing to flipping-huge off-board drives.
On-line storage just seems weird, atm - like putting it back where you found it, only you can find it quicker?
