You can ussually check on TPG to see what sites are down for maintenence ect.. Alot of the private communities have sections there to answer users questions in these circumstances.

instead of openning a new thread everytime
a site is down or under maintance or dead
just update this thread with your news,
and everybody will get it...
when a site is coming back from the dead(down),
let us know as well

i find it a very good idea, since this section is always full with threads on this subject, i hope the noobs will get used to posting here instead of opening a stupid thread everytime a site goes down for 5 minutes.

users would have to post the date and time they discovered a particular bittorrent tracker was down so other users do not become confused
