You would need a 3Mb/s Connection to pull off speeds like that.
I'm only on cable and see spikes as high as I posted, even higher sometimes, so why call bullshit on the original poster

My internet connection can go up to 2.5 mb/s but I've never gotten more than 1,800 kb/s.
