What's some good windows emulators and where can I get them (for free and/or by download? ) I heard of WinE, but know little of it. The reason I'm asking is because games like Red Alert and FF7 for PC need Win98(SE) and XP compatibility modes are worthless.

VMWare. You'll need a shatload of RAM though, which I'm assuming you have if you want to do OS emulation, especially for games.

Wine is excellent when you get it configured right.
I had a few windows games running on linux with wine.
It was cool.
Counter strike ran perfect (apart from the main menu being a bit slow)
