    Then one thing we definitely CAN agree on is that using Peer Guardian is NOT as good as using an integrated ip blocker in a file-sharing program.

    Peer Guardian will block ANY connection attempt, whether it's made by Kazaa Lite, Internet Explorer (for a web page), AIM, ICQ, IRC, etc. This can be bad if it's a website in one of the over-broad hostile ranges.

    But if the same block list were used in Kazaa Lite K++'s internal blocker, those ip addresses would ONLY be blocked if KL++ was trying to connect to/from/with them. IE would be able to visit the websites previously blocked just fine.
