Not posting in a section doesn&#39;t mean you aren&#39;t around. Oh I&#39;ve read most of the Linux topics. But why do I have to put my input just for people to know that I&#39;m around.

Either way, I guess I&#39;m a newbie, not lies about that.

wow, wtf is all that about? ive been coming in here for a couple of days so i can workk out how to use the linux which i just installed - but im pretty sure that if thats the reaction id get i wont be posting any questions, i didnt realise that this is a section purely for linux experts to discuss complicated things

O&#39;Reilly makes the best books&#33; I just got one about bash, it&#39;s pretty good

• They&#39;re informative.
• They don&#39;t dick around.
• They don&#39;t babysit.
• The author actually knows something.
• The books are huge (read: the DHTML For Beginners book is over 2000 pages )
• The books are dirt cheap.

Not true.

I&#39;m not helping anyone that I see won&#39;t even attempt to help themeselves. And there are other forums you can go to to get help. Don&#39;t expect to get any real problems solved here.
