It's not a hard question, you know
what are you talking about?

Did you just answer a question that I never asked you? [/b][/quote]
It was intended to be a joke as my reply was based around the "funny" interpretation of your answer that rather than you actually being a "misunderstood" child, you "misunderstood" the question...

Ah, feck it, I'll get me coat
On a given day or given circumstance, you think you have a limit.
And you then go for this limit and you touch this limit and you think "Ok, this is the limit".
As soon as you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further.
With your mind power, your determination, your instinct and the experience as well, you can fly very high.

understatement! School is really bad. If it isnt the actual school work gettin u down its your friends and if its not your friends its your enemys. It's a lose - lose situation!
For some it is, not for all, it was for me, altho I passed all my gcse's it was only just, I was hardly there for the last 2 years, to afraid to go most of the time, either cos I could'nt do the "Stand up Talks" or I was gonna get a kicking which got kinda boring after the first 8 years So I used to bunk off and break into mates houses with them or just hang around smoking and drinking.
Looking back I wish I had tried harder, maybe I would have made something of my life. So as bad as it may seem, hang in there cos it IS worth the hassle, just think when you leave with qualifications round your neck you'll make so much money you can hire hit men to get revenge for you

@shn.........Cheer up girl, Gen was just having a giggle

I was all o' them, dependin' on the situation.

When the kids from the next street tried to wreck our tree house or build one on our turf, we beat 'em up.

When we found open cellars in ruins of old houses, down we went an' came up dirtier than anything

When my pals tried to melt a he-man figure with a lighter indoors at a birthdayparty, I ratted 'em out.

When I was six or so, I had two female friends I always tried to get kisses from, an' sometimes I did. I even saw 'em nekkid-Score!

When some distant relative came to visit, you couldn't get me to say much even though I was usually a motor-mouth.

We also did our best to cut down every tree in the woods.

Apart from static here and there (such as bein' beaten by a friend's semi-psychotic mom and staggering home bleedin' (it's true, but then I had a penchant for really pissin' people off)), my childhood memories are pretty great. And I've got the scars to prove it, jumpin' out of trees and cutting myself on abandoned farming equipment, crashing my bike on gravel and scratching up my entire thigh and so on, i always had a bunch o' scabs somewhere.

It was glorious, except in school, and when my teens came...that pretty much wrecked everything I was.

Erm...the other kids thought I was crazy, my teachers thought I was highly intelligent.
I had an overactive imagination and for some reason I was always able to convince other people my way was the right way. When I was 8 or so I used to get into a lot of fights with some boys ( It worried the teachers I was so violent at times, I never told them I got beat up at home by my dad almost every day). That stopped after I kicked one of them in the balls. When I was a bit older I was just a weirdo. i read a lot and knew more than I should have known for my age I suppose. I once got punished for telling the class meningitis could be infectuous after one of my mates brother got it.
The first 2 years of highschool were hell. The first year was just because I dressed weird and used to hang out with boys a lot. Apparently that was not done. Second year my dad succeeded in creating some more debts and we basically didn't have any money to buy decent clothing or food. Ah yes, kids can be so cruel.

Anyway. The summer after my 14th birthday my dad died and I became a completely different person. My mum didn't really know how to control me so she just let me have my way. I don't know if she was just too tired to try and stop me or she felt guilty about all the years I wasn't even allowed to buy candy. It was cool. I got to develop myself in a way few people get the chance. By the time school started again in september everyone loved me and wanted to be my friend. I became the class clown and my grades dropped majestically.

It's that year I met my 1st boyfriend. From a free-minded hippy I became a stuck-up bitch. I didn't go out anymore, spent all my money on clothes etc...
Boyfriend turned out to be a right bastard. Beatings, rape,...I suppose that's when I stopped being a kid. I passed the 4th year. Then broke up with the guy the next year, he stalked me for months. I got into the gothic scene, started drinking, using drugs stayed away from school. My mum didn't really care, I cared even less. Got kicked out of school when they caught a mate and me with a bottle of vodka on a school trip and some stories about a party I had thrown.

I met Bender when I was 17, that got me back on me feet. I was a really good student the last two years of highschool

Did I overdo it here?
