I'm trying to pick which program I want to use for creating webpages, but I can't decide. I've used Dreamweaver and Frontpage, but I've also heard of Adobe's GoLive. I have only heard about the title of the program, I have no clue how good it is. Just curious what everyone here prefered.

Personally I prefer a texteditor (ultraedit in my case)
I do have dreamweaver, but I only use the reference 'books' in it

I suggest Notepad or maybe a better text editor because if you use Dreamweaver or FP you might get so lost in the useless code that you won't know where to find a problem if one occurs, etc.
If you want to make a quick page though without putting in much effort, Dreamweaver is much better than any other program of its kind i've ever seen.

For serious web design and development, Dreamweaver MX is the best. Adobe's GoLive is ok, but still doesn't have much over DWMX. Even if you just want an easy to use WYSIWYG editor, or a server side programming tool you won't get better than DWMX.
