if anyone can help me i would greatly appreciate it. i downloaded office 2003, but it is an .exe file, how do i open this and put it on my system. i am running xp. thanks in advance.

Double click on the file? Or maybe it happens to be a .iso with a .exe extension? Dunno.

when i do double click the file, a box pops up quickly and disappears. it has a black screen and looks like a cursor is blinking in it.

How big is this file?
It sounds like maybe it is an ISO?
Try opening it with Winrar.

I've downloaded the file you are talking about. Just do as Ariel_001 said, and open the file with WinRAR, then extract the stuff inside.

Yes, ISO files are often labelled as .exe so they should up on software searches on kazaa/lite. If it is one big file then it is likely to be an ISO file or even a ZIP file.
Look in the description when you download, it sometimes gives a clue to what it can be.
