so i have to be slightly resource conscious now

I feel your pain. Sharing one system can be a bit of a nuisance. My son and I used to share one system. I was content with merely Windows Messenger. He wanted Yahoo and AIM and such (used instant messaging much more frequently than I).Originally Posted by FKDUP74

I used to utilize this one after Trillian went through their difficulties with the Yahoo and AIM client connections. Integrity just seemed much simpler to utilize and maintain. In addition, it was free and also of any included malwares. Why bother with cracking when you do not need to? But hell, if Miranda is only weighing in at 7MB, then I think it is definitely worth a looksee.

I've never seen it go over 19MB. Sounds like a memory leak to me.

which is goofy, cause hes already gotten broadband,

yeah miranda is a HELL of a lot lighter, just not as fancy with the GUI,
and i had to d/l a plugin for the YAHOO! messenger
but heres the real kicker...after all this you guys are gonna LOVE this....
i cant remember my AIM & MSN info
i had em written down somewhere.....
