I looking for help installing lame. I've dl several times, various sources - official and verified. Either I keeping missing file or I can't read. Readme refers to install instuctions but can't find em. Running WinME.
When I try to open the prog I briefly see a new window and then it closes, all in about 2-3 sec's.
I'm going nutty trying to get this working. Any lame comments welcome. lol
Cheers, omc

And the lamest is...calctext98, for telling me to read better. The answer I was looking for was in the thread I was trying to follow (making high quality mp3's). What I had missed was to put lame into the EAC folder. Then in EAC menu>compression options>external compression>lame.exe.
Easy to follow instructions... I just shouldn't try when too tired.
Hope this helps someone.
Cheers, omc
