tom morello is my favorite by far. i love the groove to his playing. he also approaches the guitar in a unique way which is probably best for setting him apart from other axe-slingers.

'who is your favorite guitar player' would've been a more appropriate title then. i really dislike serious 'best guitar player' discussions: too subjective. if you look at one aspect of it like speed or innovation then that type of stuff can be rated i guess, but 'best' is too general to rate imho.
