I keep having issues with downloading audio files with the first 30 seconds of the track repeating rather than the whole track. is this just bad luck or is there a simple explanation or gremlins involved
please help

I think maybe you've downloaded faked file. Try to search for the file a second
time and download it again...
And read the tutorial "about how to avoid screechy files?" in Music World

You have downloaded a fake file. Use verefied hashes in Musicworld (part of this forum).
Also enable the Block Bad Ip Ranges. To do that - Lunch K-Lite
- Goto Options->Kazaa Lite K++ Options
- Check the "Block Bad Ip Ranges (eg.RIAA)"
- Restart K-Lite
- Click Tools icon
- Click IP Blocker Updater
- Click Check Updates

Autumn Fox: if I update my bad ip ranges, - correct me if I am wrong -
IP's from RIAA are being blocked. But RIAA can change their IP'S can't they?
