I thought I was going to have to sit and manually rate every file but earlier this morning I discovered that if you left click on your mouse and drag it over all your files so it creates a dotted line and makes all the files you're dragging it over blue you can rate them all, unshare or delete or any option except mass edit. Excellent rated files can quickly boost you're pl after a dozen or more are downloaded with no download activity on you. They were being uploaded faster too it seems than usual.

I don't really see you making any kind of contribution, so shut the fcuk up
Actually it's a very good tip, if you've got hundreds of files to rate! Thanks.

Too bad you can't change multiple artist names.. :( that would be really great as I rip many Cd's, i have to change like 20-30 songs manually.. It works but i takes a lot of time..

i dunno how ya got the dotted line but ive found another way for ppl who dont get a dotted line....left clik the top file and then hold the left shift key while ya left clik the bottom file and then right clik the blue shaded files to open the usual menu and its done.....thanks for making me look at this cause its a real pain having to rate 100`s of files after each reinstall of kazaa or after files have been added to my list...

That is a good tip and I'm gonna check it out right away...but of course you know that everything in my shared folders will be rated 'excellent' or I wouldn't have them there in the first place!

The standard and easy way to select multiple files is the following:
select first file, hold shift key down and select the last file (keeping shift down). All intermediate files will be selected. Unfortunately this feature can be disabled by program creators. For example, your dwonloads list and uploads list are single-selection tree views. This is very bad because you can't for example Pause/Cancel multiple files.
