I figured out (thanks Erik Viejou) that previous KS language patch was insufficient. Two features did not work with non-english clients: downloads refresher and detailed search. Now it is all patched, I tried new KS with German Kazaa where they translated almost everything including download status. Read "readme" included into the KS package. http://kazaasearch.netfirms.com/KazaaSearch2.1.0.zip

And the most important news is that now you can see ALL found files in another window. Select an item in the list and click "View results" button. Enjoy.

The third cool feature is the ability to save "extended info" - user IP, SN IP and file hash, for each search result (directly from KAzaa memory, without starting a download!). As you understand, this info allows to create a valid dat file or even form a valid URL to download that file without KAzaa. The URL looks like this:

http://user_ip:port/.hash=a2340b............

where hash is a 40-symbols long hex string, which is the hexadecimal representation of 20-byte file hash.

One comment about KS and non-english Kazaa. If you use non-English Kazaa, the following two functions will not work properly (gonna be fixed in a later patch; I am not encouraged by anyone, and as a result language patches are created so slow):

1. "Sorting results" NOT by number of users (sorting by # users always work independently of the language). Other ways of sorting require knowing the titles of header columns in the search results list. Later you will be able to provide the translated texts for these columns.

2. "Saving extended info" - also uses some titles of the header, like User and Filename.
