What does it mean to compress the harddrive?
Threads in some sections have NO links for Guests, Register before you can view those threads.

It means all the data on the drive is shrunk in size (similar concept to zipping a file) so that u can store more data on the drive. however, it slows down many tasks on your computer and unless u really need to do it I wouldn't recommend it. I can't remember all the pros and cons, but I've avoided it.
