i will i know i should do this in the question bit but.... ive tried and cant get an explanation ive downloaded sig2dat to download games but i cant do it ive copyied the hash and put it in but wot then ive read up in the forum but i dont uderstand how to do it can anyone explain fully for me plzzz.makes me sound dumb but i have to learn somehow can you help??

Simpliest way if you are copying hash files:

1. Open Sig2Dat
2. Copy hash file (highlight and use 'ctrl' & 'c' keys to copy)
3. In Sig2Dat click "Paste From Clipboard" - it places file in Sig2Dat
4. If you have kazaalite running, you will have to close and restart for file to be placed for downloading.

As long as it's in your download list, you did it right.
Just be patient, it sometimes takes a while to find a source.
Running something like Speed Up, may help.

If the file made it to your download screen you did it right :)

You just need to wait untill sources free up for you to dl it. You could also start using random nuts program and search for the same exact file several times and download it quicker.

Sig2dat is good for getting the right file but sometimes the sources just aren't there :(

Do a search for the file and compare the file size with the size of the verified hash.

You may want to make sure you are pasting the entire hash into the sig2dat window, I think you may be trying it with the last line of the hash, however all 3 lines must be pasted in order for it to work properly, hopefully this helps.

dummy@dummy is just the fake user it uses until you connect to the real thing, be patient as previous posts informed you, it will take sometime until you actually connect to a warm body, but now at least you are all set for that to happen. Congrats.

Depends on the specific file you are downloading, if it is an ISO, you burn it using NERO first then install and normally you will find a folder on the burnt CD that has the cracks in it, you would normally export those (copy them) to the program folder for that game, overwriting the existing files of the same name and off you go, however each game file is specific, so read all you can in whatever string you got the game from, normally any and all questions will be asked and answered within the same string, or do a search for the game in questions, I am sure someone asked the same questions and thus received an answer. Good luck.

only those taken from the verified section. Madden 2003, RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 and The Thing, however the Thing is one I have not yet figured out the controls on, but it does work. As I ma currently at work I could not even think about rehashing them, but if you search through the veridfieds you will find plenty, and as i stated how to make them work is normally answered in the same string and if not it is answered in the other help sections, just perform a search and you sholuld be in business. Good luck, I am not a real gamer, I more of the movie guy around here.

i think ive got the hang of it now im downoading one now i will c how it works out but thanx to everyone for helpin its a bit of a slow downloading speed to say im on broadband 2.13kb/s wish there was a way of speeding it up.anyone know one????

We all have wishes, of which that is one all of us share. There are several things to do to try and speed up downloads, try searching for ideas, way too many to list here and none of them are guaranteed to work for you or your particular files. Good luck. First and foremost, try using the cheater to increae your PL (participation level), this usually helps a great deal.
