I don't know what you call this type of music... open-source? I'm not looking for non-RIAA music like indie-torrents. I wan't music that could be used for anything without having to pay royalties/lawsuits. Thanks!

I appreciate your response, but in my initial post i said, "I am NOT LOOKING for non-riaa music like indietorrents." That music, as I understand is still copyrighted, just not under the protection of the RIAA.

Check out http://bt.etree.org/, it has torrents for groups that have given permission to share their music. It's mostly live shows, though.
