i just deleted some users:

- The members last post was over 100 days ago.
- and where the member has less than 0 posts
- and where the member joined 100 days ago

=> ~ 700 Users

Sometimes one day seems too long, and sometimes 1,000 days would seem too short. I don't know why.

I think it's fair enough, if you haven't posted for 3 months, then why are you a member?

Is it possible to tell the last time each member viewed the board VB?

No that is not possible.

But a 0 Poster with 0 Posts for over 100 Days i thinks it's not such a problem to register again when you want to post something.

3 mouth is not too much time, what about if you having a long sommer holydays and you don't have any internett there....?

i just deleted users with 0 ! Posts. So it's not that problem if you need to reregister.

So that's what happened to me last summer. I went to Australia and Fihi for a few months and had to start fresh a couple months ago in this forum. Now i'm just a NEWBIE.

I agree with VB if there are 0 posts obviously not being used too much. It's not that difficult to re-register. Now if they had like 300+ posts previously that might be different.

i totally agree with VB. in fact, there should be warning for those w/ 0 posts for over 40 days....then delete after 20 more.

to those who say that summer holidays and stuff- is it too much to drop VB a message? i think not.
i have done this twice- VB is a nice man, he doesnt bite!!!

No, I do not think that is or can happen, he simply deleted some non using members, the member numbers are probably still where they were, it's just that we will never see those 700 non using member numbers again, is what I make out of it.

There are already members with a member number of 5800 and higher.

The board will just increase that number every time a new member joins.

Yeah, exactly! So once a member number is assigned, whether or not the member stays active that number is sued and will never be used again, correct? That is what I meant, just no so well put.

.... holidays or not he didn't delete posters .....
... but registered people who never posted ...

..... so, according to that .... u can go on vacation for whatever u want ....
...... u won't be deleted if u posted at least once in your "member life" ....
