i have downloaded all the DBZ episodes you have posted, but episodes 253 (union of rivals) and 255 (rip in the universe) will only play the audio. Believe me, i have all appropriate codecs installed, judging by how all the other episodes play beautifully.

any ideas? or alternate hashes?

mmm ... normally i end up with no sound rather than no video ... but maybe the video identification part is corrupted ... you can either d/l it again or try using DivFix www.divx-digest.com/software/divfix.html ... hope that helps =)

Hiya Infested Cat. All I used was the current divx player from divx.com and had no problems with any of those episodes. I have also found that useing this player www.videolan.org to be helpful for those stubborn vidoes that don't like to play. This one has played everything I have thrown at it even when my media player or divx player wouldn't! Hope this helps and let us know if ya get it playing. :D

Iketeru Futari strikes me as being the anime equivalent of the venerable American teen sex comedy: sometimes funny, always horny, and extremely stupid. RahXephon (complete 26 eps)
a must have !!!!

Well it seems the reviews page is pretty sparse at present, so how about I kick it off with some RahXephon.
First off, I sould say that I really liked this series. It is well drawn and has a really nice sound track as well a what I thought was a fairly involving plot. Sound plays a big part throughout the series and the soundtrack reflects this by creating a really cool ambient feel.

The basic plot follows 17 year old Kamina Ayato, a high school student in Tokyo. From the outset it becomes clear that things aren't really right, the earth has been attacked and the population slashed. Things take a turn early on in the series when Kamina is rescued from Tokyo by Shitow Haruka who shows him that things are drastically different than he believed.

While there is a bit of action throughout the series, the plot has a fairly slow and deliberate pace that concentrates on the relationships between the characters rather than the fighting.

I have heard some people compare this series to Evangelion and also heard other people get somewhat fiesty at the suggestion that the two have anything in common. My opinion is that while the two are quite different, RahXephon has some similar points. For example the audience is never really clear exactly why events are turning out as they are and there is a continual feeling that more is going on than is known.

All in all, I give the series 4.5 miles (out of 5) and recommend it highly.

Hoshi no koe (The voices of a distant star)

Info: It is 2047 AD and Mars was attacked by alien forces called Tarsians. The United Nations Forces sent out a crew to defeat them in which 15 year old Nagamine Mikako was selected. But it means that she would have to leave her friend and lover Noburu. The story is about their long distance relationship between space and time. They use wireless mail to keep in contact with each other but as Mikako travels further in the galaxy, the longer it takes for their mails to reach each other. The anime uses 2d and 3d animations for the exciting mecha/spaceships fight scenes.

Rating: 9.5

Review: The first thing I thought about the anime was the beautiful animation. The animation looks so real and the combination of 2d and 3d animation in the fight scenes are mixed in very well. The mecha/spaceship fights scenes are great but could use more drama and be more challenging. The background music fits very well with the mood of the anime and the galactic battles. The love story between the separated lovers moves your heart and causes you to have bond with the characters. I like the animations of the characters because it makes them look more real and it fits very well with the sad theme of the anime. If your looking for a anime that will make you laugh, then steer away from Hoshi no Koe. But I think it's one of the best OVA that has been released for a long time. Yu-Gi-Oh is about a kid named Yugi he plays a card game called Duel Monsters which was once played by Egyptian Pharaohs in a place called the shadowrealm with real monsters.
The games threatened the world so a pharaoh sealed the magic away in 7 millenium items. Yugi assembles the pieces of the millenium puzzle and now when he duels the spirt of the pharaoh fights with him.
Those who own millenium items are often driven to aquire the others. Yugi's friend Bakura owns the millenium ring and the spirt inside tries to get the other items.
Maximillion Pegasus who is considered the creator of Duel Monsters since few know it was played by Pharaohs long ago. Owns the Millenium Eye and tries to collect the others to bring back his dead wife Cecilia.
Seto Kaiba owns a large corporation that made holographic deuling arenas that will display the monsters on the cards when dueling.
Other characters are Joey, Tristan, Taya(sp?), Mokuba Kaiba, Mia, ect.

Some compare it to Pokemon others get very upset at the idea that they're even remotely similar. I like the plot of this alot more than Pokemon but don't care if some compares them.

Season one is where he solved the puzzle I assume that they skipped this because they could sell the TCG sooner if they just skip to where he duels alot.

Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory

The usual history lesson here. 0083 is the third Gundam series in chronological order, and the second major one, the original series and the 0080 OVAs having told two stories from the same war. Stardust Memory begins a good three years and change since the Antarctic Treaty, where the Zeon sued for peace and ended their overt quest for orbital independence. All those guns, ships, mobile suits, and old soldiers didn't just fade away, though -- survivors of the rebellion remain

Chief among them is Anavel Gato, the Nightmare of Solomon, second from the top of the kill roster behind the legendary Char Aznable. Char, of course, has his own tilt with the windmills of Earth later on -- now, it's time for Operation Stardust, the daring plan to swipe the experimental Gundam GP02 and its newly-added nuclear payload. To do what? Well, there's 13 episodes, and only four here. Would be criminal to spoil the surprise, wouldn't it?

Ostensibly, our hero is Kou Uraki, a young test pilot at the Australian base where the GP01 and GP02 are brought for initial trials. There are plenty of good guys surrounding him, too, the crew of the pursuing battleship Albion and Nina Purpleton, the cute head test representative from Anaheim Electronics. Heck, they even get most of the screen time, and almost all of the lines. But make no mistake -- Gato is the star here. Like Char before him, and indeed Char after him, he steals every scene he's in, and every one his lingering presence overshadows.

When it first arrived, EL HAZARD was quickly viewed as a TENCHI MUYO clone, especially considering the studio, character designs and basic plot situations. However, a few years later and after two separate OVA series and two TV runs, you may see why some consider EL HAZARD to be a foundation of modern anime.

Unlike the first EL HAZARD TV series "The Wanderers," "The Alternative World" is meant to be a continuation of the original OVA plot instead of a parallel story. Much like LAIN, this is a 13 episode series that originally aired on late night TV.
The story starts off with the recently married Miz anxiously awaiting the arrival of her successor in order to start her honeymoon with Fujisawa. The Priestess of Water is to be Qawoor Towles, a new main character who is a young but very talented girl (and far too cute to boot). Makoto is still working on devices in order to find some way of bringing Ifurita back, while Shayla-Shayla and Nanami both fight for Makoto's attention. Meanwhile, Jinnai is still working on rebuilding the Bugrom Empire from its pitiful state.

During the first two episodes, we are introduced to Qawoor who is racing to the capital only to be haphazardly intercepted by a few Bugrom remnants. A device Makoto is fiddling with is strangely activated, and Makoto follows it to Qawoor and rescues her. We learn a bit more of Qawoor's strange powers and her resonating with artifacts, plus we catch up on current affairs in the kingdom. The minor sexual innuendo is still here as well, with Fatora and friends still up to their old tricks, and I do not want to think about what actually happened between Jinnai and Diva.

The latter episodes are where the alternative world comes into play. Suffice to say that a combination of the Priestess of Water rite of succession, Shayla-Shayla's pining for Makoto, Makoto's artifacts (with the demon-like man inside), and the meddling of Jinnai, another "accident" occurs and a large group of our main characters finds themselves separated in a strange land with no obvious way home.

The character designs and artwork are a hybrid of the first and second OVA series, with production values better than your average TV series. I actually found I preferred these character designs over the others, although I will admit the characters look noticeably younger.

Gundam X ( complete , but also in RM files)

This story revolves around the world in the year A.W. 15. A clash took place between the Earth Federation and her colonies 15 years ago. In this war, humans known as "Newtypes", which are known to have special abilities such as improve senses, were utilised. Their powers were harnessed by the Earth Federation to be used against the colonies who were rebelling against them. In the final showdown between the two forces, Earth Federation manages to use the new Gundam X to destroy the colonies. However, the colonies forged on and plunged their way onto Earth. This act killed billions of human population and made Earth almost impossible to live in. This was known as the "Holocaust". 15 years after the war (A.W. 15, simple to understand, isn't it) is where this story begins. The war has ended, but the battle goes on...

It's "adventures of the mini godesses" or something like that. It's not an SD series like DiGi, but more chibi (small).

here's a list of animes and their number of episodes, so you'll know how many to search for. if you're the inpatient type, do not download serieses that have ?? coz they're not finished production/airing yet , and dun download animes that have not been aired finish, like tokyo underground. enjoy.
