universal serial bus . for some reason my usb ports r down. and not listed in device manager.
any 1 know where to begin to get comp to recognize these?

open "new hardware wizard" . after it searches for new hardware and says it can't fine it, the next duialog box will give you a choice..you click on "i have already installed the hardware...it will then give you a list of different hardware..you select the one you're having a problem with..it should reinstall that hardware...
