There is nothing more annoying than constant huge letters or colours. There's nothing wrong with using the occasional blod or italics IMO to emphasise what you are saying though, and if anything, in a decently constructed post, it will highlight it more so than huge letters etc.

It would be good if invision could give the forums the option to ignore font size changes, the way some instant messengers do.

It's bad enough when people do it in a forum, but having a conversatio through IM with anyone who thinks it's cool to have size 20 rainbow colour effect fonts, is almost hell.

Nothing wrong with that.
However I don't bother reading a huge post with all caps.

Nothing really against it..but i do tend to not read some posts ..sometimes it makes my eyes go abit blured and all the letters join to together.
