I have tried installing both Executive Software's Diskeeper(2 different versions) and Microsoft's Streets and Trips 2002 and received the following.
Error 1606
Could not access network location
< Common Administration Tools >.Allusers.
I am using XP and am logged in as administrator.
Both go through installation but come up with this error when finalizing and I need to stop the process.
Any ideas as to what I should do?

Error is caused by an incorrect entry in the Common Administrative Tools Value Name.
To resolve:
1. Use the Registry Editor to navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerUser Shell Folders.
2. Double-click the Common Administrative Tools Value Name, (a REG_EXPAND_SZ data type), and set the data value to %ALLUSERSPROFILE%Start MenuProgramsAdministrative Tools.
3. Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerShell Folders.
4. Verify that the Common Administrative Tools Value Name, (a string data type), is set to the expanded equivalent of %ALLUSERSPROFILE%Start MenuProgramsAdministrative Tools, normally C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersStart MenuProgramsAdministrative Tools.
5. Exit the Registry Editor.
6. Shutdown and restart your computer.

yeah, what CornerPocket said....
Although, I don't see why Diskeeper would need access or need to find the Common Administrative tools, it doesn't install anything in there or anything.....that's just weird

OK, thanks. I'll give it a try. But how do I get into the registry editor?
