i dont think there is any player to fix the problem either the file was encoded incorrectly or you have a problem some how with your system..if its the file at fault ,get virtualdub and with that you can reencode the file with the sound insync with the video...and if the sync is a progressivly worsening problem the further into the file it goes use Terabits AVI Info to correct the problem...Terabits AVI Info is only for the sync that gets worse as you go further into the file not for files where the sync is out by X amount all the way thru the file

Sounds like it is the encoders fault. But you might want to try PowerDVD. It was recommended to me by a few of my buddies and it is real nice. It allowed me to hear sound in XXX and Bond where all my other progies didn't.

A lot of video and sound sync problems are the result of a system resource issue. These may be stupid questions but they need to be asked.
How long has it been since you restarted your system?
How much ram is currently in your system?
How many programs are you running or how many are there in your system tray at start up?
All of these can impact video playback Quality.
Exactly what movie (all info please) are you having this problem with? I have an extensive collection of movies and a list detailing the particulars about each movie, if you can provide the info I can let you know whether or not it is the video's fault or that of your system.
I await your reply.

Read as quoted,
if not try the other mentioned suggestions, perhap even acknowledge ShareDaddy. I'd take him up on that one myself if I had that issue
