How can i add servers to Emule....... I just installed that program and i don't know any server name to add to that program.
Please help..........

Go back to the eMule site and find a support forum over there. You will get much better help from eMule users than Kazaalite users.

There is also an IRCchat application built into eMule. Join the IRC chatrooms and look for the room with the most users in it and ask your questions. The busiest room is #emule.

Alot of servers are dead (or so it seems to me), just click the connect button and it'll go through the list of servers til it finds one it can connect to...

Bu when i click on add to emule it is giving Failed to download the serverlist from http://ed2k.2x4u.de/vrquuy9j/max/server.met error

I get that every so often from that site too, seems they go down every so often...
Or it could be that you need to go into eMule's options and where it has a button that says 'ed2k links' click that to associate eMule with those ed2k links...

That button is not enabled for me..... :(

One more thing while starting the emule i am getting one error message like no server list is added to the serverlist.dat file

should i have to edit this file.........

If the button isn't active, than that means eMule is already associated with ed2k links......So, the problem is probly that site is down..

I've never seen that message about the serverlist.dat before.....I just checked and i don't even have a serverlist.dat file

ohh....that file is for if you have the option 'Auto-update server list on startup' checked...
eMule Plus automagically adds stuff in that file, so i've never had to worry about gettin that message..
I just checked and these were in my address.dat file

I thought you could only add one addy in that file, but i dunno....ya can add them to yours and ya should stop gettin that message (i'd only add one though, just to be safe)

That happens often, after a while (if ya click the connect button), it'll find a working one, mine always does :)

For the past 15 mins i am trying to connect i am getting this error like

this is repeating for the same server

it is not taking none of the other servers.

hmm....well, that's weird, mine always goes on to the next server.....There might be an option to make it do that, but i'm not sure, i'll check on that

edit: just checked and the only option i see that may make it do that is in the Server section and says 'Remove dead server after' x retries......I got mine set to one

I just connected with eMule to Donkey Server No2 (193.111.198.138:4242)
I always try to get on a Donkey Server, as they seem to have the most users

in IP or Address : 193.111.198.138:4242
Port : 4661
Name i didn't give anything.

But it says that
