nothing, i just tried to make a folder called con for some config files and it wouldnt let me :lol:. I tried renaming it to con in the file properties and it sais that there is already a file with that name :huh:

O well. i wont name to con but that is weird :lol:

i've read this somewhere else - it has something to do with windows having 'permanent' file names - nul,prn,lpt1,lpt2 all dont work as folder names either

- CON, NUL, AUX, CLOCK$, CONFIG$, LPTx:, COMx: and PRN

Well, u can`t. Windows will encounter with "a folder with that name already exists"

Combinations like CON\NUL, NUL\CON, AUX\NUL make windows to crash itself.

It doesnt work on xp. However you cant create folders with those names but it wont crash windows xp just the older windows o.s.
