Don't know about movies burned to CDs but the Bicubic Resizer Codec (can get as part of the Nimo Code Pack) is supposed to help when movies play upside down.

cheers

Did you burn as Data and watched it on your computer? or burned it as a VCD and watched it on a DVD player?

Hi,
the disk was burned as a VCD (with the intent of watching it on the dvd player)
The disk still plays upside down wether i watch it in media player or on the dvd player.

I had this problem before on a PC and it was quite a nightmare at first. I am not certain what caused your particular predicament, however mine was that my kids had changed the desktop settings to play an older game, so when the movie was played it was upside down. I changed the settings back to true color 24 bit and resoltuion above 800 and the problem went away. I am not sure how this may help you, but you never know.

A lot of people seem to be having this problem lately, and in almost every case it seems that the original file was in XviD format and they used Nero to burn it directly. My advice would be to use a different program to convert the .avi to .mpg first (like TMPGenc), then burn it with Nero. See if that helps.

Thats happened to me before never found a way of fixing it... you could alway turn your monitor or tv upside down lol

I think Adobe Premeire can fix it too, but I'm not so sure.
