I seem to have a big problem...It seems Files that I make don't wanna get shared. I made a street Racing Video, named Yonkers Street Racing, and no one seems to upload it. Is it for upload???? Files That I download get uplaoded from me left and right, but ones i pick don't. Whats up with that?

Since you made it, most likely people dont know about it. Make a website and advertise what you make. Get some publicity for what you make and maybe people will start DL'ing them. Just my opinion.

Well, I also hosted Eminem - Lose Yourself, which is a very popular song, and still now uploads for it. I downloaded Signs and ppl are downloading it like crazy.

probably the people DL'ing Signs are keeping the people that want to DL eminem's song from DL'ing..... well maybe movies are hotter than music in Kazaa so maybe thats a reason, i dont really know, i need sleep

I have a big problem. I can only share 64k, sometimes 128k and rarely 192k of any file. I'm not behind a firewall, I don't have ANY software firewalls. Does anyone know why this might be happening? Thx in advance.

Also, make sure you edit the file details (under My Kazaa) like description, artist, keywords, etc so searches will result in more hits.

people dl only portions of the whole file and when their done DL'ing, they'll reconnect and resume the Dl at a larger size....or they'll connect to a new user which sometimes it seems they don't DL the whole file from you... hope that helps

If only it were that simple <_< But thanks for the reply! Im on cable, I guess I should have mentioned that before... And at one point I was in the 200 range for sharing. I was also sharing at my full upload bandwidth (45k/s), now I just send those small packets and it seems to just cut people off. I say that because the requested sizes are in the 45-50 MB range. Anyone else have any ideas?

It could also be that they are cancelling that download from you...or they just stopped DL'ing for the day...

I'm confused here.. its not being uploaded or is it not being shared? If its in your shared folder(?).. then its just not being uploaded.

I was wondering the same thing as Fatal Error, is the file located in the shared folder, or is the folder wherein it lies accessible for sharing? Also, Shinigami has a point about advertising, if you made the vid yourself, and with the title, who's going to know what to look for? What have you edited the information to? Have you listed it in a catagory that if someone seeking something in general like any material about racing or perhaps cars, don't laugh, I look for off the wall stuff on this thing.
As for the other question about why only partials are uploaded from you? Well, Shinigami's reasons are most likely, but I too have cable and have noticed the same thing, especially with my big band and opera collection, I'm usually the only source, but people are impatient and maybe the ppl are on dial up and I've noticed that the upload and d/l readings aren't always in sync. It may be stupid, but my friends on IM and I have conducted an experiment by downloading from eachother to see what happens. Either way, unless this is a case where EVERY file is cut off midstream, I wouldn't be too overly concerned about it. The point is that you're sharing, or at least trying to. :)
