Only About 2kb/s With 56k Modem

Hi!

My problem is, that even though I'm downloading from several sources the sum of my bandwidth is constantly something around 2kb/s. This happens even when nobody is downloading from me. Usually I have a download speed od 5.3kb/s from normal servers.
Can someone give an explaination for that.

due to several variable's...mostly luck, or lack of it. IM afraid you just have to bare with it, network traffic might be slowing down packets etc...whilst downloading a file perform a search for it also alongside autosearch more...this should find more sources and the speed up app

My problem is that the SUM of all download is maximal around 2 kB/s. Therefore it doesn't helps to find more sources.
Is there nobody who could explaint that to me? Am I the only one with that problem?

Go to this thread (http://www.kazaalite.ath.cx/bb/index.php?act=ST&f=4&t=10674) and try all the links there and suggestions and do a speed test. It may help you a little.

Upgade to Dsl or ISDN,I used 56k centuries ago tooooooooo slowwwwwwww!!!!! theres not much u can get out of 56k,but a big headach!!!

I think this is normal. I had a friend that downloaded at only around 3kb on Kazaa.... Until he got DSL...

IM having the same problem with my 128 ADSL, my max download is 1K/s and im just running 4 files in my download list, its take me 4 weeks to download 600mb file, guys really need help, im using Speedup with Kazaa lite ++.
yeah and btw when i search for my files i find 88 people who can upload it, so i dont know whats the problem any one can help me to fix that please.. im connecting to my ISP by router

I have the same problem. I download at 2Kb/s. Using a 56k modem (connect at 28k) because DSL and cable modem isn't offered where I live.
