Soundblaster Card Problem

Completely out of no where my soundblaster live! value card can't be detected and the device manager shows no hardware. what could cause this? and how can i fix it?

Remove it, start the PC, shut down, reinstall it and start the PC again. It should be redetected. If not, try it in another PC just to see if it's picked by the OS.
