i read a while ago that after you've installed xp home and activated it, you can backup a file on your system so that you don't need to go through the activation process again, when you format/reinstall
has anyone heard of this, and if so, does it work and where are the files?
thanks in advance for any replies...
p.s. don't say i should get corp, i'd rather have a legit xp home than a copied xp pro
