Emule Questions

1-So for those of you using emule, have you been able to successfuly use ZA pro with it, or do you use a different firewall with it?
2-Any clue why I was able to use emule without port forwarding on my router till last night where it suddenly became an issue?
Not only that, but emule has started crashing on me now, whereas it hadn't before I started using port forwarding

i use emule with ZA Pro, no problems at all. for the other question go to eMule Board (http://www.emule-project.net/board/index.php?s=) and don't forget to read up before you ask! it might already have been answerd there.

As for the emule board, been bumping a question on the topic there for days with no responses. Will keep trying

Can anyone confirm that these are the proper ZA settings?

Here's what I put in per the emule faq
Allow incoming UDP 4672
Allow outgoing UDP 4665, 4672
Allow incoming TCP 4662
Allow outgoing TCP 4661-4662

What router are you using??
I've always had to do port forwarding to get eMule to work right with mine (linksys router)...

Linksys BEF11S4. Worked fine for about a month without port forwarding, then suddenly no go. This was also without the latest firmware which I upgraded today
guess it doesn't really matter as I've now set up port forwarding, just curious
Oh and for future readers, fixed the crashing prob.

It coulda been a prob with the old firmware, I updated mine the same day i got it all set up.. And mine is the Linksys BEFSR41
