My installation of MOH seems to constantly stutter when I am playing it and always grinds down to a halt when more then 3 people are on the screen. It is slow, and the stuttering (as I describe it) ruins the game and I can't shoot cause the aim keeps jumping from one side of the screen to the other.

Even with the game is 16-bit with everything turned down it still does it, all my other games work fine.

This is what the game is running on:
AMD Athlon 1.33GHz
256 DDR Ram
40Gb Harddrive
NVidia Geforce 2 MX 400 64Mb
WinXP Pro

Any ideas? all help will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I think your machine is just underpowered. I have a 1.7GHz and it stutters around 5 ppl.

If the system is underpowered will boosting the memory to 512Mb DDR and upgrading the graphics card to a NVidia Geforce 4 128DDR, which I am going to do make much of a difference?

Is your graphics card AGP or PCI, because generally, PCI graphics cards slow down games, where as AGP cards are perfectly normal speed. I had the same problem with Fifa 2002, when I was running the game with a PCI graphics card it kept stuttering, but as soon as I got a AGP graphics card the game ran smoothly.

AGP or PCI?

The video card will help but not by much considering the CPU...I would lean towards a CPU upgrade.

In reply to hugoharding, the graphics card is AGP.

Thankyou Darth Sushi, I am going to look into getting a new CPU or a whole new computer.

I think it may be time to upgrade.

Thanks for the replys
