I'm trying to put Triple X on VCD, and am having problems with VirtualDub. I wanna create a WAV file of the movie audio. I open the movie, click on Audio, then Full Processing Mode. Then I click on Audio, then set the compression to None, and the conversion from 48000Hz to 44100Hz. Then I click on File, then Create Wav, I get this error:

Here is the AVI file's info:

Any ideas?

Don't know if this will work, because I haven't tried to convert a file with ac3 to vcd, but try this:

You can extract it using goldwave too. That's what I do. It saves it seperately as a wav file and then you just use that file as your source in tmpgenc. Only had a problem once and have done it about 50 times.

use decompress.exe that comes with avi2vcd (http://www.mnsi.net/~jschlic1/) and you are good to go :D

How do you do it with Goldwave??? I keep trying, but I don't know what settings to put for the output wave file. It always comes out with the audio out of sync. Think you can provide instructions? :)
