Unpack File?

I am new to downloading games. I recently got Sim Golf which I posted in the verifides, however, their is no sound. I figured that is strange for a game not to have sounds. So, I am asking do I need to double click on the file that is labeled unpack? Perhaps that opens up hidden or compressed files.

Sims Golf works fine without executing that file. I wouldn't know if their should or shouldn't be sound.

I'm downloading it right now... there should be sound. Unpack it and see if it works. Games rarely work right for me for some reason...

Well, I understand that their is no voices because their are so many golfers. If you are dl the sims golf, you will have fun. It all works great, but I would like some music while playing. Anyway, hold alt and = sign to increase money. This game works, but I'll see what this unpack does.

Yup, I just hit unpack and sure enough inside is compressed sounds. :D

Check your settings in folder options :must show all extensiontypes!
cr4cked games often have sound and imagefiles packed in .bat-files
So very large multiCD-games can be reduced to under 40% of originalsize
