Depends on how you do it, If your cd burner can overburn, and IF your cd reader can read an overburn cd....
All depends on the above IF's

it also depends a lot on the cds you use.

Don't do it!
Just buy 90min CD. It's too much risk to try to burn 90min on a 80min CD.
When overburning, it's recommended not to overburn by more than 2min.
But when trying to burn 90min on a 90min CD (you still have to use overburning method for this), be sure your burner supports overburning.
Also check how much you can oveburn, some drives can do it up to 94:59, some up to 89:59, while some don't support overburning at all.

Ok, thanx for the help guys.
My CD-RW is a Lite-On. I got it from PC world for 50 quid. I use Nero 5.5.10
Think I'll get some 90 minute CD's then.
How can I check how much my drive will overburn?

Visit the Lite-On webpage:
Lite-On CD-RW drives (http://www.liteonit.com.tw/english/english-product-f.asp?show=3)
It's a list of Lite-On drives, try to find your drive there, click on it and look at the specs.
But I think that Lite-On burners support 90min CDs, at least new ones, so you should be OK.
I think your lite-on can burn up to 99 min.
There will approx. fit 82/83 min. on a 80 min cd.

Thanx for that link tilen, I checked my drive. I can burn up to 99 mins.
I guess I can only overburn a 90 min CD by a couple of minutes; same as with 80 min?
Do they make cd's more than 90 minute?
BTW, I like both your avatars!!! ;)

Check out if you can do a flashupgrade for your drive
Be sure it's exactly the same modelversion Liteon also issues a helpfile
For the CD itself you might try the supportsite of the manufacturer.
For best results burn from imagefile and then at low speed
;)
