You can't just make an iso and burn.
The game CD probably has placed good and bad sectors in specific regions on the CD.
It needs the sectors to stay at those positions.
If you just do an iso and burn, you're ignoring the bad sectors and not getting the same positioning.
However, all is not lost.
Use CloneCd.
It makes perfect "backups" of your CD's.
Here's CloneCD download page (http://www.elby.ch/english/products/clone_cd/download.html)
where you can get a trial version.
The full version is probably on kazaa. :D

Why don't you just copy CDs using CloneCD?
CloneCD can copy protected CDs. Use Clony XXL together with CloneCD (Clony XXL will scan the CD for its protection type, and load the best settings of CloneCD, to make a perfect copy). B)

This method is the best:
1) Copy all the files on the cd to your hard drive.
2) Add the nocd crack, serial.txt (if u want) and any other files that u want (trainers, cheats...) (optional)
3) Burn all the files as a regular data cd.
4) Install from the burned CD.
5) Enjoy the game!
This method worked with every single game I tried, even the ones with 2 cds.

Yeah, right...
Try that with Fifa 2003 and you'll know the meaning of COPY PROTECTED CDs.
You can't just burn it as a data CD. Perhaps that will work with old games but not with the most recent ones.
If you don't want to use CloneCD, I suggest you make a CD image file (you can then open up the image file with WinISO and add the crack if you want), and then use Nero to burn it to a CD. B)

Exactly. Some game CDs also contain music tracks, which you can't copy as a file.
Try copying Civilization III or NBA Live 2000,2001,2003 with your method and tell me if it works.
