i downloaded ff7, unzipped it, and it keeps asking for the cd. So i run Cd check, didnt work. So i unzip the ff7fix file, and replace all the old files with the "fixed" files. nothing, run cd check with this, nothing. any tips?

I'd really appreciate it, I love this game. I'm sure someone else has had this problem before.

Thanks alot guys.

iv'e downloaded those, maybe i didnt use them right. it asked me to find the .exe, i targeted the ff7 play file (which is obviously .exe) and it said it wasnt valid.

i appreciate the help, but has anyone tried this and got it to work already, if so, i'd appreciate a walk through, step by step, plz

j :D

Well, i'd recommend buying it because its like $10... but make sure the version of the nocd crack/patch matches the version you are using and also make you sure you replace the crack over the main .exe

this may seem dumb but when i DL cracks from GCW it has different regional versions

i.e a uk version a german version and a usa/canada version maybe you have one version of the game and a different crack version?

Hey! If your only problem is it saying "no cd," THEN PUT IN A CD! ;) Seriously, any CD will do... But then of course that doesn't matter because even if you get the game to start it will hang when you get to a certain point.. oh why am I telling you this? You'll learn soon enough.

Panic Wildfire

PS I have a patch that'll get you past that point I mentioned earlier  Just email me at "panic_wildfire@mailcity.com" :)

I have FF7 for the PC. Runs good (but graphics suck with my internal graphics). Cinemas look like crap too. PSX version is the best.

If u have a decent PC, you could get the ISOs for the PSX versions of Kazaa(or buy them), and then use ePSXe to emulate it.
