so your saying you want people to be able to download songs from you faster?

i think you have it backward dude you want the songs you download to be faster and the way to do that is download cablenut it will speed your connection up dramatically.
www.cablenut.com

read the instructions and choose the settings which apply to your connection.

Are you sure cablenut works for DSL? I would like more speed but something with a name like cablenut would lead me to believe that it was cable only.

misleading name i know but cablenut works for all types of connections and if you look on the site there is an update for more specific download/uploads so find the one that represents your connection.

it WILL speed your connection up by ALOT!

Ok sorry I didnt do more research on it first. When I do the thing for my connection it only changes a couple options or so, not every box. Is that right?

it is not possible to upload faster than your bandwidth distribution via ISP, i.e. 128 == 16kilobytes\s
to improve your upload speeds...i would say try cablenut like mentioned

also check out here (http://www.dslnuts.com/yabbse/) for more tweaking info

no...you will need to change all your settings other wise the program will only manipulate certain values...follow mnosteele's hints and tips post here... (http://forums.speedguide.net/showthread.php?threadid=73799)

as it says, perform the tcp/ip optimizer test then post your results and ask for some help on particular settings

Get TCP/IP Optimizer from www.speedguide.net
Use whatever settings are appropriate for your connection. (For mine, 'extreme settings' worked just fine.)
In KL++, make sure Optimal bandwidth while idle is DISABLED!

Also get Ad Aware v6 and/or SpyBot.

I said Ad Aware and/OR SpyBot.

They both remove spyware/adware/user tracking information entries from your computer.

Since you're having a SPEED problem, removing any/all of those means you can eliminate them as a cause of your problems -- or it might just FIX your problems!

In my experience, programs that "tweak" your internet connections are shady. I suggest you go to dslreports.com, and under tools check your connection, and how you have it "tweaked" - thats a good place to start.
