I just felt like playing CS agains so I installed it and sarted playing, BUT of course nothing goes well for me. my CS seems to lag so much I can't even run, or aim right....
This didnt happen to me last time I played CS in my comp...the weird thing is, when I turn on the flashlight, it stops lagging! So I played for a while with my flash light on, but that wasn't much fun either! I kept getting killed because the opponent knows where I am by seeing at the light...plus, the battery would run out soon making it start lag again....

Anybody know what's wrong with this thing?

Make sure K-Lite is off before you play. That's almost funny! Do you have the most updated drivers? What are your system specs? Your internet connection? The more info you can give the easier it will be to pinpoint your problem.

It sounds like a graphics problem and nothing to do with K-Lite running. Make sure you have the latest version of HL/CS installed and the latest Video Drivers. Remember to REBOOT after installing these. Many people fail to do so and run into problems.

Check your video settings, and make sure you are playing in OpenGL mode, CS don't seem to like D3D very much.
