If you like the graphic IP configuration program that comes with Windows98,
you can download a similar one for WindowsXP or Windows2000 from Microsoft at:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/techi.../wntipcfg-o.asp (http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/techinfo/reskit/tools/existing/wntipcfg-o.asp)
The actual file is at:
WntIpcfg_setup.exe (http://download.microsoft.com/download/win2000platform/wntipcfg/1.00.0.1/nt5/en-us/WntIpcfg_setup.exe)
Thank you very much it works just like on 98.
i'm delighted. :D

Actually winipcfg uses ipconfig .. ipconfig is the main core program that is used in windows for details about ip settings - to get more use of ya ip you may use the ipconfig command with a switch :
eg: ipconfig /all ----> displays all ya ip configuration details including ya dns properties bah bah bah
In nix system its ifconfig
