:( The downloaded music is interrupted by some strange noise. Why? does anyone know? Was it because I played the song while incomplete? thanks

If your downlaod has not finished, the partially downloaded file will have a format like:

data data data data data garbage data data garbage data data data

The garbage bits will be whatever was on that bit of your hard drive originally. Obviously this could be anything but your player doesn't know that (it think's it is playing an mp3 or whatever) so you get strange noises.

Thanks, but what do I do? Should I dump it? Could it be cleaned up? I have a dial up connection :blink: so it took forever to download.... but... and the garbage is on my hard drive or the sending one? thanks again :)

it sounds like a crap file

junk it after trying to fix it with a tool that someone here will reccomend to you, right guys? :rolleyes:
