Not Sharing !

Does anyone know if there's a tool that will detect if somone who is uploading from my PC is actually sharing something his or herself ? I'm not always sitting in front of my PC so anyone can happily upload any of my stuff but when I am I'm finding more often lately people uploading the maximum from me but sharing zero files. I obviously disconnect them straight away but I don't understand, don't they realise that this will kill kazaa and that the whole point of file sharing is SHARING !!

Sorry guys I'm ranting now but it is really frustrating ...... come on be fair ...... SHARE !!

When i am infront of my computer i constantly shut people down that arent sharing. But before i do i send them a message telling them how much of an asshole they are.

try to ask if the're willing 2 share 1st. That would be a lot more friendly. You hear if they maybe already share or will start sharing. Now i think of it, maybe it was you i was downloading from. He called me things with me mother.... and so. He said i need to share (which i actually do, alway >200 files with >10gig) or f*ck off . He checked, double checked and than appologized. I was (am) sharing, but for some reason he couldn´t see me the 1st time. So i think you´d always be cool 1st. B)

Not exactly an extract from 'How to make friends and influence people' is it.
That method isn't going to convince anyone to share.

And I've had messages from people like you, obviously my 5gig (as it was then, now 10gig) just isn't good enough.

The fact is you CAN'T tell if people are sharing, because of a feature in the network. Your request for a list of shared files is treated like an upload, and if there are no upload slots available you won't get any search results.

So think about that, and then decide who is the asshole.

In my case, I used to ask first but one time I got this message "What do you care". :o

After that I don't ask anymore I just cut them off.

;) Don't get me started about the bastards that do not share,they should be shot and their mothers and girlfreinds tied to my bed,bound for pleasure. :D
