I would like to know how I can seperate my download dir and my upload dir. I don't want to share every thing I download.
I just want to upload the things I put in a seperate upload dir.

So could someone tell my how I can do this? I'm using Kaza lite 2.0.

Create another folder somewhere and drag downloaded files that you don't intend to share into it.

Fast reply :)

I know I can do that, but usualy I'm not here very often. I start a few downloads before I go away so they will be ready when I come back.

So far no problem.

But I have a problem with my bandwith, I have a superb connection and have to pay more $$ if I acceed a sertain data limit. So I have to keep some control over the amount of uploads.

Up to now I just disabled file sharing, but I dont feel to good about that. I believe and realise that the network exists because people share. I want to support the network, but only to an extent because of my data limit.

So that's why I want to have a seperate download and upload dir.

You could use Ptrack (on the downloads (http://doa2.hosts.sk/index.htm) page) to automatically move them when complete. But a better way might be to limit the number of concurrent uploads and limit the upload bandwidth, that way you can make sure your traffic limit is not exceeded.

You mean something like this?

Let me know if you wanna try it out, but you must have

[ LYNX CLOSE YOUR EYES ]

the .NET framework installed as it is written in vb.net.

It instantly moves files downloaded to a folder you specify!

ps-This is only intended for verifying your downloads! You can still create a folder below your my shared folder and store the files you wanna share in it! it doesnt move files that are in any subdirectory of your shared folder.

The pictures doesn't seem to be working, but I'm very interested in your solution, SiliconeShadow.

The forum knew it was about .NET and automatically blocked it. :P

Edit: Not knocking the program SiliconeShadow is talking about (since I don't know what it is yet), but pTrack does a whole lot more than just moving your files (not restricted to sub-folders either).
It can act as Speed Up too (without the skins bugs), and also pause/resume downloads to help those 'sticky' downloads, and an option to pause or resume all.

Sounds like a cool program this PTrack, I might actually give it a whirl.

By the way I fixed the pic , and I was wanting to know what the GODS think about my Supreme Beingness? :)
